Podium Shades system
Explore the operating features, construction, and available configurations behind the portable shade system designed for athletic programs and venues.
Built for athletics
The support structure stays behind the shaded area, keeping benches, players, staff, carts, and equipment clear of conventional tent legs.
Steel spring plungers engage laser-cut indexed dials at fixed positions, and both sides lock. A lockout plunger helps one operator reposition the assembly and reengage both sides.
Laser-cut aluminum uprights fold for storage and transportation, making the system practical for away games, tournaments, and multi-venue operations.
Width is set by compatible interchangeable connecting rails across the 6–14 foot range, so coverage can be matched to the sideline.
The UV-resistant vinyl cover is removable and replaceable, so team, school, event, or approved sponsor graphics can be updated over time.
Two people can typically assemble or break down the system in approximately 5–10 minutes, depending on configuration and preparation.
Cantilever shade system
Podium Shades is a freestanding portable shade system designed to keep the support structure behind the people and equipment being protected. The adjustable canopy can be repositioned as sun conditions change, providing effective coverage without placing conventional tent legs throughout the working area.
